Who We're Looking For (Position Overview)

Spry Methods is seeking an Senior Policy Analyst to conduct research and analysis on complex policies affecting cybersecurity, digital forensics, cyber threat analysis, cyber training, and system development. This key personnel position will assess existing policies and programs, identify emerging trends and operational challenges, and develop clear policy recommendations that support mission execution and organizational priorities. The Senior Policy Analyst will manage policy initiatives from research through coordination, maintain related project plans and performance measures, and work with stakeholders across Government, industry, academia, and mission-partner organizations. The position requires the ability to translate complex technical and operational issues into clear written products, presentations, and actionable recommendations.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities)

• Research and analyze policies affecting cybersecurity, digital forensics, cyber threat analysis, training, and system development.

• Review existing policies and programs to identify compliance gaps, emerging trends, and opportunities for improvement.

• Draft and update policy documents, recommendations, briefings, talking points, and decision-support materials.

• Manage policy initiatives, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and performance measures.

• Coordinate stakeholder input and maintain accurate policy records, version control, and supporting documentation.

• Engage Government, industry, academic, and mission partners to gather feedback and support policy development.

• Present complex policy issues clearly and help build consensus across organizational levels.

• Track policy implementation and maintain alignment with Department of Defense and Department of the Air Force guidance.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):

• Active TS/SCI clearance.

• Experience developing or managing Department of the Air Force or Department of Defense policy related to digital forensics, cybersecurity, or cyber threat analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience addressing complex technical and operational challenges.

• Experience communicating effectively across organizational levels and presenting complex information clearly in written and oral formats.

• Comprehensive knowledge of policies affecting cybersecurity, digital forensics, cyber training, and system development.

• Familiarity with National Cyber Intelligence programs.

• Knowledge of Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community resource-planning policy.

• Experience conducting policy research, evaluating existing programs, and developing policy proposals or recommendations.

• Ability to manage complex policy projects, including project plans, schedules, dependencies, performance measures, and stakeholder coordination.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across Government, industry, academic, and mission-partner organizations.

This position is tied to a federal proposal effort. Employment is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of the customer's onboarding and security requirements. Start dates and final reporting instructions will be confirmed upon award.
