Quality Control Manager (QCM)One of the nation's leading General Contractors is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support high-profile federal construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional who understands federal standards and thrives in fast-paced, federal project environments.This is a key leadership role on federal jobsites—not a paperwork-only position. You'll be embedded with the project team, owning quality from pre-install through closeout and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest federal standards.What You'll Be DoingServe as the on-site Quality Control Manager for federal construction projectsDevelop, implement, and maintain compliance with federal requirementsEnsure all work meets contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codesCoordinate and lead preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow-up inspectionsManage inspections, testing, and documentation in accordance with project requirementsInterface with government representatives, inspectors, and project stakeholdersTrack deficiencies, oversee corrective actions, and ensure closeout of punch itemsCollaborate closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors to drive quality proactivelyWhat We're Looking ForProven experience as a Quality Control Manager on federal construction projectsExperience on projects for USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, VA, or GSA strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret plans, specifications, and federal contract requirementsStrong documentation, communication, and leadership skillsTravel / RelocationTravel or relocation to project sites is requiredWhat's OfferedCompetitive compensation packageLiving allowance and travel supportStrong benefits and long-term stabilityOpportunity to work on high-visibility federal projects with a top-tier contractor
