Senior Product Manager - Business Intelligence & Analytics

Overview Defense Tech | National Security | SaaS Analytics Seeking a Senior Product Manager - Business Intelligence & Analytics to help shape the future of analytics and reporting capabilities. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role focused on turning complex data into actionable insights that directly support mission-critical operations. Responsibilities Design and develop automated dashboards tracking key SaaS and product performance metrics including MAU, DAU, retention, churn, and feature adoption Partner closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable analytics solutions Write complex SQL queries to support reporting, data validation, and deep-dive analysis Define and improve data structures, event tracking methodologies, and data collection processes Analyze user behavior patterns to identify trends, friction points, and product opportunities Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data completeness and tracking reliability Serve as a subject matter expert for data quality, validation, and reporting accuracy Maintain documentation around data schemas, dashboards, reporting logic, and known issues Deliver strategic insights and recommendations that influence product and go-to-market decisions What They\'re Looking For 3-5+ years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or related product-focused roles Strong SQL skills with working knowledge of Python Experience with BI and analytics platforms such as Grafana, Mixpanel, Tableau, or Power BI Understanding of SaaS metrics, product analytics, and customer engagement trends Experience working with large-scale datasets and data models Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environments U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance preferred Preferred Experience Experience supporting DoD, defense, federal, or national security programs Exposure to startup or high-growth technology environments Familiarity with SaaS business models and product growth strategies Why This Opportunity This is a chance to work on mission-driven technology that has a direct impact on national security.
