Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

This is a 13-week contract position with day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, rotating every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health and substance use disorders. You will work within a supportive team, utilizing your skills and experience to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health unit.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Participate in therapeutic group activities and interventions.
Assess patient conditions and document care effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
Current BLS and CPR certifications.
Experience in behavioral health preferred.
BSN preferred, along with ED or ICU experience.
