Job Title Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Everett, MA Compensation and Schedule Weekly stipends of $1,848, base pay $1,200–$1,280. Shift: 10 hours/day, 4 days/week. Flexible shift sizes. Contract 13 weeks starting 7/14/2026. Location and Travel Everett, MA. Will accept local candidates within 50 miles. Job Description Block scheduling not offered; must float between Pre‑Op and PACU. Pre‑Op shift 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; PACU shift 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; on‑call shifts 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. (then 10 p.m.–7 a.m.); weekend on‑call approximately every 4–5 weeks (Saturday 7 a.m.–Monday 7 a.m.). Must work every other major holiday. Charge capability highly preferred. Scrub color provided by unit. Requirements Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS at time of submission. 2+ years of experience in Pre‑Op/PACU; up to date resume and 2 recent Pre‑Op/PACU Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references. Drivers license with address matching demographics. Flu vaccine required during season. NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE current or conditional Massachusetts RN license, pulled within last 7 days. RTO must be included at time of submission; not guaranteed after confirmation. EMR experience preferred: EPIC. Unit Specifics Pre‑Op/PACU rotate. Required drips & medications: PACU occasional pressor support. Lines of service: General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Ortho (TJ, Sports Med, Podiatry, Hands), Vascular (vein ligations, stab phlebectomy, some IR procedures will have IR tech), Endoscopy also done in OR. PACU will also recover IR patients that receive anesthesia. Number of beds: Pre‑Op 5 bays and 8 PACU.
