Network Engineer

Network EngineerNorthstrat is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide sustainment support for the network enterprise, ensuring reliable, secure, and optimized network and communications operations. This role supports the design, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of network and cloud infrastructures in accordance with operational, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimize network and communication protocols while integrating new technologies into existing architectures.Perform network and communications engineering support, including design, configuration, implementation, and sustainment activities.Ensure network compliance with DISA STIGs, operational standards, and cybersecurity directives, including performing vendor-recommended software upgrades.Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, faults, and outages to minimize operational impact.Maintain and support local integration and test networks to validate new configurations and technologies.Integrate network and communications solutions into the broader system architecture to support mission requirements.Develop detailed design documentation for new or upgraded network architectures.
