Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,584 - $2,711 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 per week Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12 Nights) Start date: 10/19/2026 Setting: inpatient hospital assignment; travel staffing Responsibilities Provide inpatient respiratory care across NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and general pediatric/adult units as assigned Administer prescribed therapies (inhaled medications, chest therapy, airway clearance techniques) and assess patient response Support ventilation management, monitor ventilator performance, and participate in weaning and daily rounds as directed Set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory equipment; ensure proper infection control and device safety Document all care in the electronic health record (Epic) and communicate changes in patient status to the care team Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals; participate in care planning and comply with unit policies Requirements Licensure: Current NBRC-verified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS; NBRC Verification; NRP Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience; prior travel experience preferred Specialty and setting: Experience in inpatient settings including NICU/PICU/Adult ICU and general units; teaching hospital experience preferred EMR: Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable) Documentation: All specialties worked must be clearly documented on each prior employment entry Schedule and availability: Weekends as needed; no mandatory call; flexible scheduling required Transportation: Public transportation not accessible in the area; reliable personal or rental transportation recommended (snow tires November–April) Other: Must be able to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and provide compassionate, patient-centered care Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the shift and shift changes Bi-weekly orientations (next available 11/02) Fast credentialing process to start promptly Possible extension opportunities based on need and performance PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
