Senior Environmental Project Manager - PR/548322_1783005153 Irvine Permanent $120,000 - $160,000 USD a year PR/548322_1783005153 Location: Irvine, California Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex environmental consulting projects focused on site investigation and remediation. This position requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting and technical project management, capable of delivering exceptional results on time and within budget. Responsibilities Project Leadership: Manage environmental projects involving subsurface contamination, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Site Assessments: Oversee and conduct Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, including field work, sampling, and data collection. Remediation Planning: Perform feasibility testing and develop Remedial Action Plans for contaminated sites. Data Analysis: Interpret laboratory and investigation-related data to inform project decisions. Regulatory Coordination: Engage with agencies such as: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) Regional Water Quality Control Boards Local Certified Unified Program Agencies (CUPAs) Reporting: Prepare and review technical reports to meet EEC's quality standards. Compliance: Conduct environmental due diligence and compliance assessments at industrial and commercial facilities; implement corrective actions as needed. Waste Management: Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with regulations. Client Support: Provide regulatory guidance and assist clients in maintaining compliance. Safety & Quality: Promote safe work practices while maintaining project quality and timelines in high-pressure environments. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting and project management. Strong technical expertise in site investigation, remediation, and risk assessment. Experience with Human Health Risk Assessment (preferred).
