Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional – Greenville, NC Pfizer is seeking a Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) to promote its vaccines portfolio across customers and channels, engaging in live in‑field and virtual interactions within the assigned territory. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Drive sales in the assigned territory to meet approved business objectives. Engage with customers both face‑to‑face and virtually. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans; identify and execute live/virtual engagement strategies with customers to maximize overall effectiveness and impact. Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments, maintaining customer engagement by effectively utilizing existing and evolving digital tools. Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities. Employ product and disease‑state knowledge using approved clinically oriented information and patient resources, as applicable. Demonstrate market knowledge, uncovering barriers and drivers across all relevant business channels (public health, private market, retail, etc.). Collaborate effectively and compliantly with cross‑functional colleagues, including Field Medical and Account Management, to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives. Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly (e.g., entering customer calls appropriately, submitting expenses, responding to requests from sales leadership and partners). BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following OR an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience: professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service, and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, pharmacist, PT, OT), educator, full‑time military experience. Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory. Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years disqualifies the applicant. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical‑related marketing experience. Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, outstanding communication skills, teamwork, leadership ability, and accountability. Experience with vaccines therapeutic area and products. Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations). Reside within the territory boundaries. LOCATION Greenville, North Carolina. Must live within 25 miles of the territory border and have a valid U.S. driver’s license. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary ranges from $76,000 to $199,600 annually. During initial new‑hire sales training, the employee will be classified as a salary non‑exempt employee (eligible for overtime pay). Following training certification, the employee becomes overtime exempt. The position offers an additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonus. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with company match, additional retirement savings contribution, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental leave, medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage.
