CNC Machinist
Brief Company Summary
Our client is a precision manufacturing company proudly built around the statement MADE IN THE USA — they manufacture and fabricate many different types of parts, and it is their machinists who stand behind that statement. On behalf of our client, we are in search of adding a CNC Machinist/Operator to the team — immediate hire.
Responsibilities
• Work with programming and foreman to review next job
• Set up fixtures for jobs
• Collect tooling and set up tooling required to start and complete the job
• Set zeros and offsets for jobs
• Machine parts as per order request and job notes
• Ensure the work you are producing is conforming to the print and meets specifications during the machining operation(s)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of CNC mill or vertical machining experience
• Ability to read, understand, comprehend and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge and use of CNC tooling and holders
• Ability to set up CNC tooling, fixtures and transfer programs
• Make simple edits to "G" and "M" codes
• Must be able to regularly lift 10-35lbs and occasionally lift around 56-60lbs - reasonable accommodations may be made for employees with disabilities
