This contract opportunity starts as soon as possible and continues through May 28th, 2027, offering 32 hours a week at a respected local school. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Hold or pursuing a GAPSC Paraprofessional Certificate (preferred)
• Previous experience working with students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) is a plus
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills and compassion for supporting diverse learners
• Reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom management, instruction, and individualized student support
• Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lessons and social or behavioral goals
• Support students with emotional or behavioral challenges by implementing behavior plans as directed
• Prepare materials, provide supervision, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Communicate relevant student information with teachers and support staff as needed
