The Freight Payables Associate will handle day-to-day administrative responsibilities such as processing freight invoices, efficiently review and process shipping paperwork including bills of lading and receipts, coordinating with carriers, and managing payments. Additional duties include maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper documentation, and assisting with issue resolution. The role requires effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams to support seamless operations. Qualifications 2+ years' experience, preferably in the transportation industry Ability to calculate numbers, correct entries, and post records Effectively communicates with all levels of the company and carriers via telephone, email or in person Strong Communication, Customer Service, and Interpersonal Skills Experience with handling unloading processes and freight management Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities Flexibility to switch projects as directed based on urgency Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business tools Utilizes independent judgment to manage confidential information High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus Previous experience in freight payable processes or a similar role is advantageous Serves as liaison between agent and carrier in the resolution of administration issues and inquiries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
