Speech Therapist

A skilled nursing facility in the West Allis area is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function while enhancing their overall quality of life. Responsibilities Provide speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders Implement evidence-based treatment interventions to maximize resident outcomes Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, residents, and families Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with Medicare, state, and facility guidelines Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning activities Educate residents, families, and staff regarding treatment plans and recommendations Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute setting preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Passion for providing exceptional resident-centered care We Offer Competitive compensation Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Supportive leadership team Opportunities for professional growth and development #J-18808-Ljbffr Resolve Diamondback
