Learn more at Railserve**Job Description** The Clerk is responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties that support daily rail switching and operational activities at the site. This role assists with reporting, communication, scheduling, filing, and administrative coordination to help ensure operational efficiency and customer support.This is a predominantly office-based position that works closely with operations personnel, customers, and site leadership while supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the rail operation. Responsibilities include preparing reports, handling correspondence, maintaining schedules, answering phones, and assisting with operational documentation.While most responsibilities are office-based, the position will occasionally require field activity such as walking track to verify railcar numbers and support operational accuracy within the rail yard.The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
