Description Floor Care Specialist Full-time: 7:00am - 3:30 pm M-F Raybrook Manor at Holland Home About Holland Home:
- Since 1892, Holland Home has been providing vibrant independent living for area seniors, assisted living services for those needing help with everyday activities, and skilled nursing for those requiring a higher level of care.

- Today, Holland Home is one of Michigan's largest nonprofit providers of senior services. Continuing its dedication to its community, Holland Home employs over 1,100 people and cares for more than 2,500 souls daily, each day, living out our mission.
- Holland Home was founded in 1892. Located on the corner of Michigan Street and College Avenue, the facility opened its doors to eight men and women, and many more soon followed. By 1912, Fulton Manor opened its doors. By 1922, Holland Home had committed to providing continuous care for its residents.
- Vacuums and cleans carpets and floors throughout the building including resident rooms, hall carpets and other large areas as directed; responds to requests for removal of various spills and/or stains from residents and staff.
- Identifies cause and determines method of removing stains from floors, carpets and furniture using a variety of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Strips, waxes and polishes floors as directed, maintains hard floors with proper procedures.
- Extracts carpets as directed.
- Coordinates the scheduling of floor and carpet maintenance with nursing and housekeeping staff. Provides services for Independent Living residents within the Additional Care Services program.
- Uses proper chemicals and correct mixtures.
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of Floor care experience with basic knowledge of floor care equipment
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
- Pass a background check
- Full-Time (Monday-Friday):
- 7:00am - 3:30pm
- 40 hours per week
