Travel RN Telemetry Nights Assignment Length: 26 weeks/day per diem Los Angeles area Our client is an award‑winning hospital management company operating 40+ acute care hospitals in 14 states. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilising the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The RN also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. They communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or responses to treatment. The client is seeking to create a per diem pool for RN Telemetry. Requirements Current and valid state RN licence, required. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. Ventilator Management experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
