Resident Care Aide

Schedule Full Time: Tuesday-Saturday 2pm - 10pm or 10pm - 6am Part Time: Sunday-Monday 2pm - 10pm or 10pm - 6am Salary $16.00 - $17.00 per hour– based on experience Shift Differential Available for evening and weekend shifts Benefits Generous PTO Paid Holidays and Floating Holidays Aetna Health Insurance, including medical, dental, and vision Child Care Reimbursement Compassionate PTO Donation Program – to support a team member Flexible Scheduling Employer Paid Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program PTO Cash Out Program Retirement Plan – 401(k) with company match Resident Care Aide Responsibilities Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights Maintain and document proper records of care Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor: evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc. Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities Resident Care Aide Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law One year working in a care giving capacity preferred Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required Company Overview Peregrine Senior Living is known for their innovative leadership in revolutionizing care for the elderly.
