LVN Or Psych Tech

Licensed Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians are encouraged to consider a per diem weekend position with Liberty Healthcare's mental health program at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility a Riverside County jail. This program provides mental health evaluation and treatment services to adults who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing basic nursing care to jail inmates
• Administering IV and oral medications
• Providing health education
• Observing and documenting health status
• Collaborating with security staff
• Ensuring program clients receive high quality health services

Work setting:

You will work onsite at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility at 1627 S. Hargrave Street in Banning, CA 92220.

Schedule:

• You will work per diem (as needed) primarily on weekends
• Work hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay:

$30.00 to $36.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)

You are a good fit for this position if you are a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Psychiatric Technician and have experience working in a mental health setting.
