Mechanical Technician 2nd Shift

job summary:
Mechanical Technician needed for immediate 2nd shift direct hire opportunity just north of the Boston, MA area. The right person will be a proven mechanically inclined individual with the ability to wear many hats and perform a variety of duties. Responsibilities would be the supporting of preventive maintenance for manufacturing and processing equipment, trouble-shooting and repair of building systems such as HVAC, etc.. This person will have an all around working knowledge of troubleshooting, upkeep, repairs and the use of a variety of tools within a manufacturing environment. Looking for someone with professionalism, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills.

responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair a manufacturing equipment and or other miscellaneous facility repairs

• Ensure that all lines are changed over and ready for startup.

• Perform scheduled PM on manufacturing equipment .

• Support management teams to ensure proper compliance .

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years related experience

• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and general troubleshooting and repair

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair of machine components and general facility repairs

• Must have exceptional communication skills with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

• Computer skills including the use of MS Word, Outlook, Excel required.
