Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A

Position Overview Senior Analyst in Corporate FP&A. Provide accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision‑making. Location Hybrid in Tysons Corner, Virginia or Charlotte, North Carolina. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Lead development and maintenance of financial models and forecasting tools. Prepare and analyze financial reports, identify trends, variances, and provide actionable insights. Recognize revenue and costs on long‑term projects as work progresses. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data, assumptions, and key drivers for budgets and forecasts. Conduct in‑depth financial analysis and cost‑benefit analyses to support capital project evaluations and operational improvements. Participate in long‑range financial planning, scenario modeling, and risk assessments. Monitor financial performance versus targets, assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations. Support ad‑hoc analyses and finance‑related projects, ensuring timely deliverables. Mentor and support junior analysts. Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 10 years of FP&A experience in manufacturing or related industry. Expertise in recognizing revenue and costs on long‑term projects. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. Experience calculating completion percentages using cost‑to‑cost or effort‑expended methods, managing project budgets and cash flow. Strategic planning and business modeling experience. Advanced Excel and financial software skills. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to present complex information clearly. Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and work independently. Detail‑oriented with commitment to accuracy and deadlines. U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a DOE security clearance. Preferred Additional Qualifications Master’s degree in related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA). Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues in the nuclear sector. Experience with financial modeling in regulated industries.
