What You'll Do

• Support clinical interventions based on evidence-based practices
• Provide skilled, rehabilitative, and medically necessary treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders
• Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Support patients' progress assessments and communicate effectively with supervising Physical Therapists
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress in electronic records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Assist in discharge planning and provide patient education and counseling
• Support and supervise students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
• Adhere to APTA and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics

What You Need

• Active State Licensure as a PTA in MA
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devices
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration

• Experience working in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
• CPR/BLS certification
