Responsibilities

• Deliver care in accordance with established physical therapy plans, ensuring that prescribed treatments are administered to assigned patients in line with the standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Kansas physical therapy practice act.
• Provide guidance and clinical oversight to support staff.
• Advocate for physical therapy services and foster professional growth within the organization and the community.
• Report to the designated department leader.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Kansas.

• BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hiring or transferring into this role, prior to engaging in direct patient care.

• A valid driver’s license is required, along with an original driving record.
• The driving record must not indicate any DUIs, speeding violations, or accidents within the last two years.
• At least one year of driving experience.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting is advantageous.
