Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit. Shift: Nights Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Weekly Scheduled: 36 hours Responsibilities Assess and admit patients. Perform rounding checks. Give medications. Communicate with family members. Provide overall care of patients. Licensing and Certification Virginia or Compact Multi‑State license in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire. Education RN‑Associate’s Degree RN‑Bachelor’s Degree RN‑Diploma RN‑Master’s Degree Unit Description This is a 24‑bed Medical/Surgical Stroke unit where patients receive telemetry monitoring. Care is focused on determining the next step for each patient, which may involve cardiac catheterization, transfer to a heart hospital for surgery, or diagnostic testing such as a stress test or echocardiogram. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sentara Healthcare Inc
