Quality Technician

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have an opening for a Quality Technician in our Quality Assurance Department on 1st shift. If you are ready to take on a new challenge, we want to meet you. Pay: $48,000-$60,000 yr.; Based on experience Responsibilities Supports the Quality Assurance department with the creation and modification of quality documentation. Documented Information: Create, Control, Storage and Retrieval; inclusive of but not limited to: Work instructions (general quality) Documentation pertaining to APQP/PPAP Change Requests Supports the Quality Assurance department by knowing and understanding the requirements of its customers; internal and external. Supports the coordination of measuring & testing devices & equipment for calibration. Assists with ordering & monitoring the required lab supplies pertaining to the calibration & verification process (e.g.; measuring & testing devices, replacement components, etc.). Additional responsibilities and projects may be assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager. Qualifications And Experience Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and have experience with Microsoft Office including Intermediate level using Excel. Preferred candidates should be able to multi-task, work independently and be able to collaborate with a team. Manufacturing experience, a working knowledge of inspection methods, training with IATF, ISO Quality Standards, Core Tools Training (APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, SPC) and bilingual speakers (English and Spanish) all a plus.
