FULL TIME/ PART TIME

Sleep Lab Technician performs comprehensive testing, analysis and associated interventions under the supervision of the Supervising Physician and Site Manager. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required. Successful completion of a Polysomnographic Technologist program of no less than one year duration, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility 1-5 years of experience in critical care in sleep facility, or similar qualified medical field required. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate and explain required information to patients. Computer literacy / CRT skills, with the ability to perform data entry functions. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Proven self-starter with ability to motivate personnel and promote teamwork. Ability to function independently; a self-motivator. Ability to access and assimilate a high volume of information rapidly.
