Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with current critical care experience for a 13-week night shift assignment at a hospital in Milwaukee, WI.

Details

• Work in a hospital Respiratory Therapy unit in Milwaukee, WI
• Night shift hours: 18:00–06:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• May be required to float within skill set to other units on-site or to facilities within 40 miles
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Current critical care experience required, or critical care experience within the last 12 months
• WI Respiratory Therapist license required prior to start date
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be AHA-issued
• NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics/AHA) preferred but optional
• Travel assignment experience preferred
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Ability to manage a heavy workload is essential for this role
