Through this integrated approach to reducing wasted food–Prevent, Provide, Power™–Divert works with customers across the U.S. to reduce wasted food and positively impact people and the environment.Under the direction of the Assistant Plant Manager and Plant Supervisor, Divert's Senior Technicians play a pivotal role as they drive operational efficiencies while championing our safety and culture initiatives. Our Senior Technicians work in our RNG facilities, utilizing cutting-edge technology to solve the food waste crisis.Shifts Available:Days, 2/2/3, 6a to 6:30pNights, 2/2/3, 6p to 6:30aThis position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her safety as well as the safety of others.Responsibilities:Partners with the plant supervisor to execute the daily operation plan.Engages directly with the Divert HMI daily to understand system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive results that meet leadership-defined standards.Assists with and executes clean-in-place (CIP) procedures, including but not limited to Biosis, MBR, and decanter operations, while ensuring titration accuracy and process adherence.Daily plant reporting – Divert Digital Platform, Maintenance Connection, etc.Cross-trained and able to support in all processing positions on the plant floorEnsures execution of daily sanitation tasksSafety leadership – ensures the team delivers excellence in LOTO, Fall Prevention, Confined Space, Hot Work, PPE, and moreIdentifies and communicates potential safety, environmental, and operational risks within the food waste RNG facility; responds promptly to alarms, abnormal conditions, spills, equipment failures, and other emergencies; and escalates issues to leadership or emergency response personnel as needed.Cross-trained to assist in the maintenance and repair of feedstock processing equipment and other RNG facility equipment.Other duties as assignedWhat we're looking for:HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience2 year Technical Degree, Associate's degree, or Military background is a plus1-3 years Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, or Auto Mechanic experience1-3 years in a Leadership role preferredForklift experience requiredDemonstrated strong written and verbal communication in EnglishBasic computer proficiency and mathematical skillsExperience leading in a fast-paced environmentWilling to work overtimeWhat's in it for you?$26-28/hour (+ $2/hr differential for night shift)Health, Vision and Dental Benefits (effective the first of the month following your date of hire!)Life InsuranceSafe harbor 401(k) planPaid Time OffOpportunities for Advancement with a Rapidly Growing, Mission-Driven OrganizationDivert Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
