Route Sales Representative - Radford, VA

Location Radford, VA Job Summary Wise Snacks is seeking a Route Sales Representative. The primary purpose of this role is to represent the company in the field, selling and delivering products. You will ensure high quality service, meet deadlines, and deliver on time while contributing to increased sales and profits. Responsibilities Maximize the use of space to increase sales Seek and secure all opportunities for incremental sales Show the proper use of POS to drive sales Ensure stores are serviced according to their sales to eliminate out of stock situations Meet all sales goals and generate new leads to solicit new business and build the organization’s client base Manage inventory and place orders Load, unload, and drive products to their appropriate destinations Growth Responsibilities Service stores Develop growth routes to increase service and sales Use discounts strategically to maximize sales Set up and manage routes to reduce cost (RTM, time management, educate on good business practices) Required 2 years in DSD (Direct Store Delivery) sales experience 1 year managerial experience (i.e. merchandisers) Good numerical skills Prior supermarket sales experience Microsoft Office experience Valid driver’s license Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly Ability to get in and out of the vehicle regularly Preferred Prior food or salty snack industry experience +3 years managerial experience +5 years customer service industry experience +5 years experience with supermarket channel About Wise Wise Foods Inc. is a leading producer of salty snacks with a long heritage.
