Pay $13.75 - $14.25 per hour, plus digital tips. Overview Potbelly Sandwich Shop is looking for friendly and outgoing people who enjoy working in a fast‑paced, friendly environment. Our Team Members help customers enjoy lunch again by providing fast, friendly, and efficient service and delivering quality, consistent products every time in a clean and inviting environment. Responsibilities Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by Shift Leader or Manager. Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety. Restock food line, chips and cooler. Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.) efficiently. Use automatic slicer if 18 or older. Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash. Operate cash register: handle, balance and follow all cash handling procedures. Effectively handle customer complaints or issues. Take delivery, catering or pickup orders over the phone. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Want to delight customers with great food and good vibes. Friendly and customer‑service oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Can handle heat of the kitchen—knife skills are a plus! Love working in a fast‑paced environment. A team player. Can manage higher levels of noise from music, customers and employees. Can manage potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish. Able to stand or walk a minimum of 3 hours or as needed. At least 16 years of age. Able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Illinois applicants: must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment. Benefits Competitive pay.
