INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE 

Deer Park, Texas 

JOIN THE TEAM AT SAGE RENTAL SERVICES 

SAGE Rental Services is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Deer Park, Texas team. This position serves as a critical link between our customers, Outside Sales Representatives, and branch operations. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where exceptional customer service and attention to detail are key. 

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will help drive branch growth by coordinating rental transactions, assisting customers, supporting sales efforts, preparing quotes, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from inquiry through equipment delivery. 

What You'll Do 

Customer Service & Sales Support 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer inquiries, walk-in traffic, and rental requests. 

• Support Outside Sales Representatives by preparing quotes, rental contracts, and sales orders. 

• Assist customers in selecting rental equipment and solutions that best fit their project needs. 

• Communicate equipment availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and service timelines. 

• Demonstrate products and explain equipment applications when needed. 

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering responsive, professional service. 

• Coordinate with operations, dispatch, transportation, and field personnel to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. 

Branch Operations & Administration 

• Prepare accurate rental quotations, bids, and proposals for new and existing opportunities. 

• Maintain current customer account information, activity records, and sales documentation. 

• Schedule and dispatch service calls while maintaining accurate logs and records. 

• Develop a working knowledge of SAGE's equipment fleet, inventory levels, pricing structure, and delivery capabilities. 

• Support daily branch operations and assume additional responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager. 

• Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies and procedures. 

• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on safety, accountability, and customer satisfaction. 

• Perform additional duties as assigned. 

What We're Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

• Minimum age of 21 years with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. 

• High school diploma or GED required; additional college coursework is a plus. 

• 1-3 years of customer service, inside sales, rental industry, construction, equipment, or related experience. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications. 

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeeping. 

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. 

• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and environmental practices. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 3-5 years of experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial services, or a related industry. 

• Experience with rental management software, ERP systems, or CRM platforms. 

• Basic understanding of pumps, trench safety, construction equipment, or industrial equipment applications. 

• Proven success building long-term customer relationships and supporting sales growth.
