Outdoor Education Instructor

Outdoor Science School Instructors teach 5th and 6th grade students a science curriculum that aligns with California State science standards. While at camp, students are transformed through their experiences in nature and their relationships with each other. Our work uses God's creation, outdoor activity, and teachable moments to encourage students to consider their relationship with nature, friends, and loved ones. You can expect to work 5 days per week in a rewarding environment alongside other like-minded individuals and to be part of a team that is passionate about the outdoors and building deep relationships. We're a large Christian Camp and Conference center with three unique camp settings in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. We also operate a fourth camp near the California/Oregon border in the beautiful Marble Mountains. Our ministry, and part of every job here, is to invite each guest to consider their relationships with others, Creation and Jesus. We do this by creating a safe encouraging environment and engaging each guest in meaningful conversations.
