Structural Fitter

Structural Fitter We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting large structural carbon pieces such as I-beams and other large components for skids. You will utilize hand tools and measuring equipment, along with tack welding techniques, to ensure precision and quality in your work. Responsibilities Fit large structural carbon pieces, including I-beams and other components for skids. Utilize hand tools and measuring equipment for precise fitting. Perform tack welding to secure components. Ensure all structural fittings meet quality standards. Requirements 3-5 years of experience as a structural fitter in a manufacturing company. Proficiency in fitting I-beams, square tubing, and skids. Ability to perform tack welding. Competence in using all hand tools and measuring tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a non-climate controlled manufacturing shop environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled, focusing on day shifts from 6AM to 6PM. The environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
