SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, oversees daily warehouse operations at the satellite branch, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and facility management. Leads and supports distribution associates while ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and high levels of customer service. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) Maintain > 95% inventory accuracy on Service Parts and 100% on Finished Goods equipment through monthly reporting and oversight of cycle counts Ensure accurate tracking of 100% of non-sellable and used warehouse inventory Meet or exceed on-time shipping and order fulfillment targets Maintain a safe, clean, and audit-ready facility at all timesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assigns and prioritizes daily work to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Oversees daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Reviews and verifies orders for accuracy; resolves discrepancies and escalates issues as needed. Oversees and coordinates customer shipments via UPS, LTL, and other carriers. Leads, trains, and supports Distribution Associates; provides guidance on processes and best practices. Serves as the primary point of contact for the satellite branch, ensuring excellent customer service and communication. Troubleshoots customer and operational issues, implementing corrective actions and process improvements. Conducts and oversees weekly cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. Monitors and manages inventory levels; coordinates replenishment and communicates shortages to management. Maintains inventory of packing materials and ensures operational readiness. Ensures warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards. Oversees facility operations, including layout, workflow, and general upkeep of the branch. Supports audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred. Minimum of 4-5 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations experience. Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks). Customer service experience strongly desired.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Strong knowledge of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.) Leadership and team coordination skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Proficient computer skills (inventory systems, shipping software, Microsoft Office) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow and enforce safety policies and procedures Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Non-Manufacturing: Work performed in a warehouse/office environment with low to moderate noise levels Requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods Ability to lift up to 51 lbs.
