Job Details Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Education Requirements: Valid state license; at least 1 year of clinical experience in operating room or open heart procedures required. Location Requirements: Candidates must have a valid state license; compact licenses accepted. Years of Experience: 2 years minimum experience required. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Experience in charge nursing, patient monitoring, cardiovascular procedures, and OR scrub experience. Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. The position may require float to various units and facilities within the region. Candidates must be flexible to work holidays and adhere to scheduling requirements, including requesting all time off upfront. References covering one year within the last three years are required. Responsibilities include administering blood and blood products, assisting with cardiovascular surgeries such as CABG, valve replacements, and intra-aortic balloon pump procedures, and maintaining sterile protocol compliance. Candidates are expected to complete pre-start modules and orientation, with time recorded accordingly.
