Senior Accountant

Join Our Team as a Senior Accountant! Old World Granite is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. We are a family owned and operated Co. with 47 years in business in the Phoenix area. Established as a premire stone company in both residential & commercial projects. A provider of high-quality fabrication and installation of granite, porcelain, marble, and other natural and engineered stone solutions. Daily Responsibilities: Full cycle accounting AP/AR, payroll, payroll tax, journal entry prep, ect. Compile and analyze financial statements Assist with month-end close processes Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Conduct reconciliations of accounts Required Skills: Knowledge of balance sheets and general ledger Proficiency in accounting software Ability to perform account reconciliations Familiarity with accruals and fixed assets Experience 7 years in public accounting OR Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3 years experience Nice to Have Skills: Experience with job costing Experience in construction accounting CPA certification Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Knowledge of internal controls and tax regulations Strong financial reporting and analysis skills Previous experience in accounts receivable Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $71,000.00 Maximum Salary: $90,000.00 Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vacation Leave Sick Leave Holiday Pay Paid Time Off Paid time off on Employee Birthday Profit Sharing Plan DEI Statement: Old World Granite is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.
