As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Sterling Heights MI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors associates and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store surrounding property parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help to control access observe customer and associate activity and report suspicious behavior or policy concerns.
• Support daily operations by assisting with security-related checks answering questions and providing a visible presence during business hours peak traffic periods and/or closing procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
