Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings between $45000 - $52000 / year inclusing annual bonus. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Merchandising Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of merchandisers as well as assisting sales teams with nurtuting and growing client relationships. This role will aslo perform merchandising activities, constructing displays, stock SGWS products, and build and maintain displays in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Train new Merchandisers on policies and procedures

• Oversee designated employees and monitor the work assigned to them

• Assist sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers

• Ensure all company products are properly displayed

• Receive, investigate and resolve internal and external customer complaints and requests

• Perform merchandising activities as needed; cover routes when Merchandisers are out on vacation

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus two years of experience

• Previous supervisory experience

• Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid drivers’ license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws

• Stay apprised of federal, state, and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility

• Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device

• Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours

• May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48lbs
