Field Operator III
SGS Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and checks on fire hydrants and water valves.
- Inspect approximately 50 to 60 hydrants or valves per day.
- Work as part of a three-person truck team.
- Get in and out of the truck throughout the day.
- Set up traffic cones and maintain a safe work area.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Basic water system knowledge
Education/Experience:
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Mechanical background preferred
- Inspection experience preferred
- Field operator experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of water systems preferred
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with physical, outdoor work.
