Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized tests and observational assessments.
• Craft tailored treatment plans addressing both immediate therapeutic goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, family members, and caregivers to devise holistic care strategies.
• Empower patients and their families with educational resources that facilitate their journey outside clinical visits.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring a seamless continuum of care during each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Uphold meticulous and timely documentation consistent with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to professional growth by staying informed about advancements in the field and engaging in peer collaboration.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Mandatory: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first month of employment.
