Job Duties

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs to create tailored therapeutic strategies aimed at helping them achieve their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply best practices to improve patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday tasks
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work together with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families effective therapy methods to promote sustained improvement outside the clinical environment
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and modify plans as necessary, ensuring effective pathways to recovery

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are both encouraged and endorsed

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT certification mandatory
