Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Pride Health is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our clients medical facility in Linden, NJ . This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Linden, NJ 07036

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr. on W2.

Shift: Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5 pm

Duration: 3+ months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks and receive incoming materials.
• Inspect and verify shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Enter receipts and inventory information into the system.
• Put products away in the correct storage areas and rotate stock by expiration date.
• Prepare and ship outgoing orders.
• Pick, pack, and deliver orders as needed.
• Handle returned goods and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
• Follow all company, safety, OSHA, and warehouse procedures.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Good organization, record-keeping, and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with pallet jacks, hand carts, forklifts, or walkie stackers is a plus.
• Forklift/electric walkie stacker certification is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and a strong safety mindset.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to regularly stand, walk, lift, and move materials up to 30 lbs.
• Work in a temperature-controlled warehouse.
• Follow proper lifting and moving procedures.

Safety Shoes Required:

• Lace-up style only.
• Steel-toe metatarsal protection is not required .
• Athletic-style safety shoes are acceptable.
• Waterproof/oil-resistant shoes are not required.
• High slip resistance is preferred.
