Forklift Operator

Position Title: Forklift Driver Pay Rate: Hourly $23.38 Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time, 2nd shift 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. M-F Overtime will be required Physical Location: International Paper –North Kansas City 1910 Warren St. North Kansas City, MO 64116

THE JOB YOU WILL PERFORM:

* Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility. * Load and unload trailers, railcars, and production lines in a safe and efficient manner. * Transport raw materials and finished products to designated storage and production areas. * Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns. * Ensure inventory accuracy through proper product handling, storage, and documentation.

• Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support production and warehouse operations as needed to meet customer and

business requirements. * Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve operational goals.

THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial

environment preferred.

• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials in a manufacturing

environment.
