We are looking for a dedicated Locum Physician to join our outpatient team at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for a rewarding 9-12 month assignment. This role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge diagnostic imaging, including mammography and biopsies, in a supportive and state-of-the-art environment. Whether you're seeking to diversify your experience or maintain your skills between permanent roles, this position is your perfect fit. Required Skills: Board-certified or eligible in Radiology with proficiency in diagnostic mammography, breast biopsies, PET, CT, MRI, X-ray, US, and other imaging modalities. Ability to interpret and report on various radiological studies efficiently and accurately. Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Cerner. Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset. Licensure and certifications current for practice in California. Nice to Have Skills: Experience reading PET scans and performing breast biopsies. Knowledge of teleradiology procedures and workflows. Comfort coordinating with onsite radiology techs and support staff. Preferred Education and Experience: Physician degree with board certification in Radiology. At least 2 years of clinical radiology experience, particularly in outpatient and mammography settings. Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is a plus. Other Requirements: Credentialing with Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital within 90-120 days. Ability to start on or around May 6, 2026. Travel reimbursement includes airfare up to $750, preferred lodging, car rental up to $65/day, and IRS standard mileage rates.
