Job Overview Work Flexibility: Field-based Senior Sales Associate – Sports Medicine What You Will Do As a sales associate in our Sports Medicine specialty, you will be the face of Stryker products and will assist Sales Representatives in the promotion and marketing of those products. Your duties include educating doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff on proper use, maintenance, and updates of Stryker products. You will tailor promotional messages based on customer knowledge, advise on appropriate product selection, answer questions about product functionality, and differentiate Stryker from competitors. You will also conduct product training, maintain strong relationships, and work flexibly to focus on customer value. Each day will involve field engagement and the opportunity to impact patient care. What You Need 0‑2 years in an outside sales position (medical related fields preferable) B.A. or B.S. degree required Completed in‑house product training program Confidence in communication and the ability to influence sales conversations Charismatic networking skills with internal and external contacts Strategic closing ability and a proven record of exceeding quarterly sales quotas Trusted partner status with expertise in product knowledge Competitive drive and persistent results‑oriented mindset Additional Responsibilities and Duties Medium work: exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally or 20 pounds constantly to move objects Communicate with large groups and telephonically Use common office equipment (fax, modem, calculator, PC, etc.) Travel up to 20% overnight annually Drive an automobile regularly Negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and customers Solve customer complaints and questions efficiently Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Stryker products and their differentiators Analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly What We Offer The role offers a competitive salary with a base of $60,000 plus benefits. The position requires 30% travel and is based in a field‑based role.
