Responsibilities
- Family intervention specialists are an advocate for the families in any involved system they are a part of, such as CP&P or CSOC (Children's System of Care), with the purpose of gathering information specific to intervention development and advocating in the best interest of the child's long-term stability. Intercept specialists may be able to work remote, however, will be expected to report in-person for program-specific meetings at their agency. Specialists must also have their own transportation to use for work purposes. Family intervention specialists are responsible for providing after hours support to families using a rotating on-call schedule and are expected to respond in person during some crisis situations as deemed necessary by their leadership team.
