Job Details: Kokomo, IN 46901 | Full Time | High School | $15.00 - $17.00 hourly | None travel | Any shift | Retail. Position Overview This position is tasked with performing the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility and providing excellent customer service. The position is responsible for implementing workflow procedures based on direction from the Site Manager, supervising employees during day-to-day tasks, providing customer support in escalated situations, and managing overall workflow. Duties and Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate meetings. Conduct employee performance reviews. Develop good customer relationships. Participate in recruitment and dismissal processes. Smooth out problems within the workplace. Address employee and customer concerns. Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement. Email and phone correspondence. Liaise between managers, customers, and employees. Provide direction to staff. Monitor spending patterns and budget. Fill in for Site Manager (GM) in times of absence; make executive decisions, hold meetings, and provide accountability. Organize shift schedules for team members. Monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off. Assign duties to specific employees based on role and skills. Supervise employees and assist with tasks as necessary. Manage employees’ requests and transgressions. Train new and current team members on tasks. Handle customer issues and manage conflicts. Adhere to company policies and health, safety and employment standards. Balance cash drawers and prepare cash deposits. Perform all other duties as requested. Additional Tasks Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services. Take and process wash payments to customer satisfaction. Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is kept organized. Provide assistance to customers in any area concerning the car wash process. Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a pleasant and competent attitude. Point to directional signs; neutral, no brake, no steering while watching to ensure directions are followed. Smile at customers and give a thumbs up after they are in neutral with no brakes. Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area. Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to daily. Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung. Use a sense of urgency to ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, home office, and teammates. Qualifications Ability to display courtesy and professional attitude. Excellent customer service skills to ensure optimum satisfaction. Strong ability to work flexible hours, such as evenings and weekends. Ability to work standing for long periods of time. Ability to lift items of moderate weight. Ability to work outdoors and be efficient in all weather conditions. Ability to interact ethically with employees and customers. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to handle the physical demands of the job. Ability to follow directions and correctly implement tasks.
