Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, recent PCU experience, Neuro unit experience, and proficiency with Epic EMR. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care while maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient progress and promptly respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Document all patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care PCU RN experience.
• Neuro unit experience required.
• Recent Epic EMR experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
