About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Nurse – Kansas**Start Date:** August 10, 2026 **Location:** Overland Park, Kansas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts (days and nights); rotating weekends required; no on-call

• 13-bed Labor and Delivery unit plus 3 triage beds serving a busy maternal care program
• AWHONN guideline-based patient ratios: 1:1 for labor and recovery
• EMR system: CPN/GE centricity
• Opportunity to work with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and newborn care
• Float opportunities to Mother Baby and Women's Surgery units
• Collaborative team of 69 nursing and support staff with a culture of caring and compassion

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license (or eligibility for compact license)
• Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Preferred: experience with OR circulation for cesarean sections, newborn delivery, and antepartum care
• Proficiency with fetal monitoring and OR equipment
