Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care within an LDRP unit
• Deliver care to antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mother and baby), special care nursery, and general nursery patients
• Utilize the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and ensuring safe delivery of patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff; provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MedHost (inpatient), GE Centricity (OB), or Athena (clinic) EMR systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery or LDRP setting
