Group Product Manager, Industry Solutions

At Inriver, we help brands deliver better product experiences - everywhere their customers are. From the first product detail to the final purchase decision, we make product information work smarter. Now we're looking for a Group Product Manager, Industry Solutions to be our platform expert in front of customers and our voice for B2B Manufacturing back into Product. This is a hybrid role - part Sales Engineering, part Product Management, part Solution Architect - for someone who loves being close to customers and close to product decisions at the same time. You'll represent Inriver in customer conversations such as RFPs, check-ins and events, and you'll represent our Ideal Customer Profile, B2B Manufacturing, inside Inriver. You'll bring back what you hear, and you'll influence roadmaps across teams to act on it. In some cases that means shaping what dev teams build next. In others, it means building the answer yourself, configuring templates and solutions using the Inriver platform's own extensibility (including MCPs) to show what's possible, no dev resources required. This role reports to the SVP of Product Management.Why you'll love this role • Be the platform expert in the room: Demoing Inriver, answering the hard questions, and representing product in RFPs, customer check-ins, and events• Become our resident expert on B2B Manufacturing, our Ideal Customer Profile, and bring that signal directly into product decisions• Work hands-on with the platform's extensibility features and prototyping tools to create solutions yourself, not just spec them for someone else• Sit at the intersection of Sales, Partners, and Product, with real influence over what gets built.• Join a company with strong product ambitions and a friendly, down-to-earth culture.What you’ll do • Represent the Inriver platform in customer-facing settings - RFP processes, existing customer check-ins, events, and partner conversations• Deliver product demos that speak credibly to both business and technical stakeholders• Gather structured feedback from customers and partners, and translate it into clear input for Product Management• Build deep expertise in B2B Manufacturing as our ICP; their workflows, data challenges, and buying criteria• Influence roadmap priorities across product teams by bringing evidence, not just requests• Identify where customer needs can be met through configuration and templates rather than new development, and prototype those solutions yourself• Partner closely with Sales, Partner teams, Marketing, and Customer Success to keep the product story sharp and consistent What you’ll bringWe don’t expect you to tick every box - but we think you’ll succeed here if you have many of the below:️ 5-10 years of experience in a hybrid role spanning Sales Engineering, Product Management, or Solution Development, or strong exposure to more than one of these disciplines️ Comfort presenting and demoing complex software to customers, from technical buyers to business stakeholders️ A builder's mindset: you'd rather configure a working prototype than write a requirements doc about one️ Experience within B2B Manufacturing️ Familiarity with platform extensibility concepts (APIs, low-code configurators, MCPs, or similar), or eagerness to get hands-on with them️ Strong communication skills: equally comfortable in an RFP response, a customer workshop, or a roadmap review️ A collaborative mindset: you bring structure, curiosity, and follow-through️ Willingness to travel occasionally for customer sites, team meet-ups and eventsWhy Inriver At Inriver, you'll join a global company with a product at the center - and people who genuinely care about building something meaningful together.
